COMMUNITY CHURCH

About Grace Community

Grace is central because it is by God's grace that we're even here. He has seen fit to assemble this body of believers to exalt His son, Jesus Christ — the One whose death and resurrection gives us peace with God and the hope of heaven. You'll find that His grace is the common thread that runs through every ministry and expression of worship here.

Community is likewise significant. It suggests both genuine fellowship within our church family and an open door to those around us. As members of one body, we seek to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:3). As a light in our community, we're a place of peace for those in chaos, a place of forgiveness for the guilty, and a place of hope for the hopeless.

Church, however, is paramount because of its absolute uniqueness. While "Grace" and "Community" were our choice in defining who we are, "Church" was mandated by God — as revealed in His Word. It is His designation for the assembly of people called by His name.

We Believe

We believe that God has inspired the words preserved in the Scriptures, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, which are both record and means of his saving work in the world. These writings alone constitute the verbally inspired Word of God, which is utterly authoritative and without error in the original writings, complete in its revelation of his will for salvation, sufficient for all that God requires us to believe and do, and final in its authority over every domain of knowledge to which it speaks.

The Apostles Creed:
We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of
God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

We believe God has graciously disclosed his existence and power in the created order, and has supremely revealed himself to fallen human beings in the person of his Son, the incarnate Word.

Intergenerational Church

We believe Church is for every generation! Together we sing, we pray, we listen, we worship! One Body, One Family.

We believe it is imperative for children to grow in the sanctuary with their family. The biblical model of worship brought the entire family together. Together to sing, pray, listen and connect!

We believe going to church together as a family means more than going to the same building together, it means sharing the worship experience together

One Body, One Family, One Church! This is our Father’s House, everyone has a place!
